Research interests
I am particularly interested in the biotic and abiotic processes that give rise to variation in forest structure and biomass across landscapes – from tree diversity and functional traits, to topography and soil nutrients. As part of my PhD I will be using a range of field and remote sensing approaches to understand how tree diversity influences forest ecosystem functioning across different spatial and temporal scales.
